Raised in Rolling Meadows and Buffalo Grove, Illinois, Dr. Robert Waligurski received his Bachelor of Science in physics from the University of Illinois in Champaign/Urbana, Illinois. He received his Master of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Southern California. He continued his education at the University of Southern California, receiving an EME in controls engineering with a minor in complex systems architecting and a PhD in mechanical engineering.
Over the last thirty years, Dr. Waligurski has worked as a scientist/engineer at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, Hughes Aircraft Company, Boeing Satellite Systems, Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Zodiac Aerospace, and Safran. He has held faculty positions at Chapman University College and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Dr. Waligurski was a founding board member of the Anacortes Family Center (a shelter for homeless women and children) and was key in achieving funding for and constructing the facility. He was a board member of the organization for over ten years and held the offices of president, treasurer, and secretary.
Rob lives in Washington State in a small town on an island near the Canadian border. He spends much of his free time hiking, biking, and snowboarding in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. He has been a vegetarian since 1998. Rob often snowboards during the winter throughout the Pacific Northwest and even throughout the summer on Mount Hood in Oregon.
Dr. Waligurski has spent over twenty years researching the Bible and ancient manuscripts, seeking the truth about Jesus and his teachings. His passion is to seek and uncover the truth about God, Jesus, humankind, and reality.
